3-Day Ba Be Lake and Ban Gioc Waterfall Tour from Hanoi

• Connect with your tour guide in Hanoi and depart for Cao Bằng.
• Stop in Lạng Sơn to visit the historic Chi Lang border gate, Dong Khe Battlefield, and Mother's Temple, while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of the mountainous areas in Northeast Vietnam along the way.
• Arrive in Cao Bằng early in the afternoon. This is your time to explore nature and the local life of the ethnic Nung people. If time permits, you may hike up the mountain at the homestay village for a panoramic view of the whole area in Cao Bằng Geopark.

• Wake up early to enjoy the fresh air of this rural paradise. After a local breakfast, hit the road to Ban Gioc Waterfall - the fourth biggest border waterfall in the world, located right on the border of Vietnam and China. Get on a boat to move closer to the waterfall and enjoy time for photos.
• After the falls, continue to Nguom Ngao Cave - one of the best limestone caves in Cao Bằng, known for its unique and beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
• Have lunch and travel to Ba Be National Park on a 3.5-hour drive through four mountain passes with awesome landscapes.

• Today, enjoy one last exotic breakfast before a 3-hour boat trip around the lake. Stop at Cam village, located on the bank of the local Nang River, for a short walk to enjoy the landscape and learn more about the area.
• After that, continue along the Nang River to reach Puong Cave, filled with an incredible chain of limestone stalactites and stalagmites, and, of course, mysterious bats.
• End at Buoc Lom Wharf, where you bid farewell to Ba Be and return to Hanoi.
