Day 01
Nadi Temple, Markets, Orchid Gardens and Sabeto Mud Pools
- Your tour starts when your guide meets you at your resort, hotel, or cruise ship.
- Arrive at Fiji's famous and colourful Nadi Siva Subramani Temple. Take a guided tour of the temple and enjoy the spectacular paintings and history of Indian gods and goddesses.
- After the temple visit, explore Nadi's colourful vegetable and fruit markets. The tour then continues to the local handicraft market, where you can witness an array of local handicrafts and artefacts to take back home. This also includes shopping at some famous duty-free stores.
- Next, head to Fiji's famous orchid gardens, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. Nestled in the cool shadows of two giant mountains, the gardens feature over 30 to 40 varieties of magnificent Asian orchids and Cattleya hybrids, once the private collection of the late American actor Raymond Burr.
- Continue to the famous Sabeto Mud Pools, one of Fiji's hidden jewels. This stop offers a rare opportunity to indulge in a therapeutic natural thermal mud spa. The therapeutic mud pool of Sabeto is considered an ideal remedy for self-cleansing or naturally beautifying yourself. Locals believe that the sulphur in the hot springs has healing properties, and it is a popular spot for both visitors and locals, creating a great social experience. The Sabeto Hot Springs has three pools set in lush natural surroundings, where you can have fun applying rejuvenating mud generously on yourself and your friends.
- Afterwards, wash off in a warm spring pool and feel your stress melt away with the mud.
- Later, return to your hotel, resort, or cruise ship to conclude the tour.
