Day by day
Departing from Hue, we drive 60 km to Bạch Mã National Park.
In the afternoon, we do a five-hour trek through the sub-tropical forest, taking us to the Ngu Ho and Do Quyen Waterfalls. Ngu Ho, or Five-lakes Cascade, is a series of small waterfalls that crash down into pristine pools of clear water, secluded under a canopy of foliage.
Stay overnight in the park's guesthouse.
Following breakfast, trek to the summit, the most popular trail at Bạch Mã.
After one hour of uphill walking to reach the peak, admire the spectacular views north to Hue and south to Lang Co beach from here.
Explore a sub-tropical evergreen forest. The trail passes the ruins of several French-era villas and is renowned for birdwatching.
The trek ends at the Orchid Collection House near the guesthouse.
After lunch, trek down the mountain and drive to Hoi An.
