Uçhisar, Göreme, Avanos and Cappadocia's Fairy Chimneys
- You will be picked up from your hotel at around 10 am in your tour guide's brand new air-conditioned van.
- After the group is complete, the tour begins. The first stop is Uçhisar Castle, the biggest fairy chimney and ancient watchtower of Cappadocia. Your guide will give you detailed information about the site, and then you will have free time to take photos.
- Next, continue to Göreme Open Air Museum, one of the highlights of Cappadocia and of this tour. Göreme Open Air Museum features unique cave churches from the 11th and 12th centuries. The interior walls of the churches are decorated with frescoes, and your guide will share detailed information about them.
- After the museum visit, you will be taken to Avanos for lunch, which is included in the tour price.
- After lunch, head to a pottery workshop to discover Cappadocia's oldest art. You can see unique handmade masterpieces, and you can even try making one yourself.
- Next, visit the Devrent Valley photo stop. Some of the naturally formed rock formations look like animals, and the shapes depend on each person's imagination, which is why Devrent Valley is also called Imagination Valley. Later, continue to Paşabağ Monks Valley, another highlight of the tour. Paşabağ is known for its mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. There is a walking trail here, and you can walk around and discover this exciting place, which looks like a landscape from another planet.
- Lastly, return to your hotel to conclude the tour.
