Description
Embark on an adventurous trekking tour to Mount Meru, a dormant stratovolcano located 70 kilometres west of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Trek through local villages, explore Little Meru Peak and take in the breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro when you reach the summit.
Itinerary

Mount Meru Trek
- 08:00 am- After breakfast, drive to Tengeru Cultural Center. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a fresh cup of herbal tea while having a briefing from your guide about the day hike.
- 09:00 am- Start hiking and follow the tropical trails under the banana canopy while listening to some brilliant legendary stories about Meru from your guide. The majority of the hike is more like walking up a steep hill bypassing farms and village houses.
- 12:00 pm- The hike definitely steers up your appetite this is why we'd stop at a comfortable spot for lunch.
- 01:00 pm- After lunch, the hiking continues for an hour and we'd reach the Meru falls. The altitude here is 22000meters the falls are gigantic and refreshing. You may take a dip. After all while not while you are an adventurous person.
- 04:00 pm- After taking a few hours to relax and enjoy the scenery, we'd start going back to the center.
- 05:00 pm- We'll return to the center and transfer back to your residence or hotel in Arusha Town.
