Description

Sign up for this walking excursion to explore the ancient Jaffa and the origins of Tel Aviv, a city officially founded only in 1909. Stroll through the city's flea market, Artist Colony, Jaffa Port and Neveh Tzedek (oldest neighbourhood). Look at the famous Clock Tower while hearing stories about the city's unique history and learning about the communities living here.

Itinerary

Tel Aviv City Tour
- We meet at the iconic Clock Tower in Jaffa, where we start the tour.
- After hearing about the history of Jaffa and the area surrounding the clock tower, we'll head to the port and learn more about Jaffa. Leaving the port, we will visit the old city, which includes the artist colony.
- After finishing off at the archaeological tel, we will then go to the flea market where we'll have lunch.
- Then, we will walk over to Neveh Tzedek by way of the first train station. Neveh Tzedek is Tel Aviv's oldest neighbourhood. Walking through the Neveh Tzedek, we'll hear about the origin of Tel Aviv and then continue on to the city's most famous street Rothschild Blvd where the tour ends.
