The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Arusha and Transfer to Highview Hotel

Upon arrival, connect with your tour guide, who will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the Highview Hotel.
Walk to the old Elephant Cave and Watersprings, or rest and enjoy the nice surroundings.

Overnight: Highview Hotel

Day 02

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos, as well as prides of lions that include the magnificent black-maned males. There are also lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game you may see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals.
In the evening, head back to the Highview Hotel.

Day 03

Olduvai Gorge Cultural Tour

Go on an exquisite cultural tour to Olduvai Gorge, where the first man to walk on African soil was discovered.
Then, visit the Maasai boma to meet the people who originated in that area (optional).
After a full-day program, drive back to the Highview Hotel.

Day 04

Lake Manyara National Park and Departure

Head to Lake Manyara National Park, which takes about 4 hours.
After having a picnic lunch in Manyara, begin a late afternoon game drive, which is the best time to view animals in this park. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon, forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the groundwater forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade. Other animals frequently seen are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, and others.
Soon after that, you will be taken to the airport for departure.
