Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara

   • Pick up from Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning.
   • Drive to Masai Mara, a 5-hour drive to the main gate via The Great African Rift Valley escarpment and the famous Masai Town, Narok. 
   • Check-in at the camp/tent and have lunch. 
   • Embark on afternoon game drives through the park in search of the lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes and other members of the big five plus other animals.

    Dinner and Overnight at Camp/Lodge

2. Day 2: Masai Mara

   • Do an early morning game drive and return to camp for breakfast. 
   • After breakfast, spend a whole day in the park with packed lunch, searching for famous residents. The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeests during migration season from early July to September. Zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, including leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhinos are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River, as are substantial Nile crocodiles, who lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures.
   • Later have your meal and stay overnight at Camp/Tent.

3. Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

   • Early morning breakfast. After breakfast, leave Masai Mara for Lake Naivasha. A 5-hour drive to Naivasha, you will arrive around time for lunch, check-in at camp/tent and have lunch.
   • Later in the afternoon, go for a game drive to visit Hells Gate National Park, which allows walking safari, hiking, bicycling ride, rock climbing and photography of wildlife and a visit to the geothermal power plant. 

   Overnight at Camp/Tent

4. Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

   • Have breakfast and check out.
   • Leave Lake Naivasha for Amboseli National Park.
   • A 5-hour drive to Amboseli park, there will be a stop to view the incredible rift valley scenery as you proceed for Amboseli National Park, which lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. 
   • You will arrive with a short game drive, proceeding to your lodge for check-in and lunch. 
   • Check-in at Camp/Tent. Later in the afternoon, more game drives await you.
   • Later, have dinner and stay overnight at your Camp/Tent.

   Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes can be seen in the swamp area.

5. Day 5: Amboseli to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

   • Enjoy game drives early in the morning.
   • Return to your lodge for breakfast.
   • After breakfast, leave Amboseli for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary with a game drive en route. It will be a 3-hour drive to Taita Hills Sanctuary Park. 
   • You will arrive at Taita Hills Sanctuary around lunchtime.
   • Have lunch at Taita Hills Lodge.
   • Then after lunch, transfer to Sarova Saltlick Game Lodge. 
   • Later, dinner at Camp/Lodge. The Game Lodge has a private viewing balcony with all rooms, commanding a view of the adjacent Taita Hills.

   Afternoon game drive at Taita Hills Sanctuary: It hosts cape buffalo, African bush elephant, African leopard, Masai lion, Tanzanian cheetah, Masai giraffe, zebra, hartebeest, impala, waterbuck, Thomson’s gazelle, lesser kudu, dik-dik, and other smaller animals, including a great diversity of birdlife. 

6. Day 6: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Mombasa

   • After breakfast, enjoy a game drive en-route.
   • Drive out of Taita Hills Sanctuary and head to Mombasa. It will be a four and half hour drive to Mombasa.
   • You will arrive in Mombasa around lunchtime.
   • We will drop you either at the North coast of Mombasa or drop to Diani, South Coast of Mombasa, at your respectful hotel or Airport.
