Phnom Penh Landmarks and Mekong Sunset Cruise

  • Connect with your tour guide, who will pick you up from your hotel by private car at 9 am to start the tour.
  • Begin by visiting the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, followed by the National Museum, which exhibits one of the world's important collections of ancient Khmer archaeological, religious, and artistic works from the 4th to the 13th centuries. Lunch will be at your own expense.
  • In the afternoon, visit the Tuol Sleng Museum, also known as the Museum of Genocidal Crimes. It was used by the Khmer Rouge as a detention and torture centre in the late 1970s. Continue to the Independence Monument, King Sihanouk Statue, and Wat Phnom Hill.
  • Take a sunset cruise along the Mekong River, depending on the weather. It is one of the best ways to see the sweeping view of this rising star city of Southeast Asia, which was called "Paris in the east" from 1960 to 1970.
  • Return to the hotel at around 6:30 pm to conclude the tour.
