Luxor - Valley of the Queens and Ramesseum
- You will be picked up at your Luxor accommodation by your tour guide for a drive to the West Bank through the village of Qurna to visit the old necropolis in the Theban Mountains on the West Bank of Luxor. We start at the spectacular Valley of the Queens, where you will descend in the most famed tombs of all: the final resting place of Queen Nefertari.
- You will visit three additional Royal Tombs in the Valley of the Queens.
- Next is a visit to the "Temple of a Million Years", a memorial temple commissioned by Ramses the Great. The fast complex dates back to 1100BC and contains the remains of storerooms, granaries, workshops and a 19m high statue of Ramses II, possibly the most prominent remaining colossal statue in the world.
- You will be brought back to your Luxor accommodation.
