The itinerary

Day 01

Accra Markets, James Town, and Osu

Connect with your tour guide at Independence Square to start the itinerary.
Begin by walking through one of the biggest markets in West Africa - the Markola Market.
Then, go to James Town (British Accra) and learn a little history about this historic place.
Stroll through the principal streets of British Accra and visit Ussher Fort and James Fort, two of the oldest forts in Accra, one of which also served as a prison for Ghana's first president.
Next, see the lighthouse and the active fishing port of James Town, which used to be a slave port.
Head back to the Art and Cultural Market (Art Center) for more experience with the African drum and to buy some African artifacts.
Afterwards, move to the principal street of Osu for some brunch or dinner, depending on the time.
An additional stopover is possible on request.
