The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Moshi

Meet your tour guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer to your pre-booked hotel in Moshi town for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Wildlife Safari in Tarangire National Park

After a very early breakfast, head to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. Look out for large herds of elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, waterbucks, elands, and various bird species.

Day 03

From Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Have breakfast and depart for Serengeti National Park, renowned for its natural beauty, remarkable features, wildebeest migration, and the Big Five animals.
Then, embark on an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park.

Dinner and overnight at a 4.8-star hotel/lodge.

Day 04

Full-Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti

Enjoy a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park.
After an early breakfast, depart for a game drive along the Sogore River circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River. This route offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, gazelles, topi, ostriches, and cheetahs. There is also a tourist center close to the public campsites that is well worth visiting after the morning game drive.
See interesting wildlife displays and visit the gift shop, where you can purchase information leaflets and maps of the area.

Day 05

Northern Serengeti and Mara River Migration

After breakfast, leave your campsite or lodge for the far northern Serengeti to witness the wildebeests' migration crossing the Mara River and observe the Nile crocodiles in action. Depending on where the migration is found, your driver may instead take you to the western corridor of the Grumeti River.

Day 06

Game Drive in Northern Serengeti

Have breakfast and continue your game drive in Northern Serengeti.

Box lunch is provided. Dinner and overnight at a 4.8-star hotel/lodge.

Day 07

From Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Depart with a picnic breakfast for an early morning game drive.
After lunch, make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater rim with an en route game drive in Serengeti National Park.
Later, the adventure continues as you travel up to Ngorongoro, another African icon.
After a pleasant picnic lunch, drive eastwards to visit another spectacular setting for Tanzania's wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 08

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Return to Moshi

After breakfast, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for a game drive, followed by an afternoon ascent to the crater rim before continuing to Moshi town. This volcanic caldera is filled with grassland, forest, and swamp, creating a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water on the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals.
Look for elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, wallowing hippos, waterbucks, baboons, and even the rare black rhinos.
After your morning game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater and continue with an en route game drive via Maasai Boma, where you can immerse yourself in Maasai culture.
In the late afternoon, drive to Moshi town for dinner and an overnight stay at the arrival hotel.
