Day 01

Taqah, Wadi Darbat, Jabal Samhan and Mirbat Excursion

Connect with your tour guide at 9 am, who will pick you up from your accommodation to begin your exploration of Taqah.
Stop for photos of the magical coastal town and beach, and enjoy the beach view from above at Panorama Place.
Afterwards, head to Dhofar Mountain to see Wadi Darbat and the waterfall.
Your next stop is one of the world's largest sinkholes, measuring 211 m deep and 150 m in diameter, situated at Tawi Altair - also known as the 'Well of Birds'.
Continue your journey into the mountain range of Jabal Samhan to a breathtaking plateau at almost 1700 m.
Then, see the unique baobab trees and desert roses at Taqah Beach.
Afterwards, visit the old capital of Dhofar, Mirbat, and its harbour, and stroll through the old town to see a wonderful collection of old Dhofari-style houses.
