Sultanahmet Highlights and Grand Bazaar Tour
- Connect with your tour guide and start the tour from the Hippodrome area, Sultanahmet Meydanı, in Turkey. It was once a circus and social centre of the city, where chariot races were held, and it could hold around 100 spectators.
- You can see the Serpent Column, Walled Obelisk, and German Fountain in the same square next to each other and learn about their history and importance.
- Next, head to Hagia Sophia, one of the most important historical and architectural works.
- After Hagia Sophia, walk towards the Blue Mosque.
- Have lunch at one of the local restaurants and try popular foods such as döner and kebabs.
- Lastly, proceed to the Grand Bazaar, one of the world's greatest shopping destinations, spanning around 30,700 square metres and home to around 4,000 shops.
- Shop for all kinds of souvenirs in the bazaars and jewellery shops, and taste some delicacies in the restaurants.
