Day 01

River Kwai, Death Railway and Prasat Muang Singh

• Get picked up at 07:00 from your hotel in Bangkok and drive to Kanchanaburi for a journey to the famous Bridge over the River Kwai, built by Allied prisoners of war during World War II.
• Visit the Thailand Burma Railway Centre Museum, the war cemetery, and the River Kwai Bridge.
• Enjoy a train ride through the Kwai Noi gorge.
• Get off the train at Krasae Cave Station, a famous and well-known viewpoint considered the most beautiful and most dangerous point of the Death Railway. You can walk from the entrance of the cave and stop to take photos on the railway. If you look down through the railway, you will see the Kwai Noi River flowing below.
• Have lunch at a local restaurant.
• Continue with a visit to Prasat Muang Singh, a Khmer temple complex dating back to the Angkorian period, where you will have a chance to walk around peaceful historical ruins before returning to your hotel in Bangkok in the late afternoon.
