The itinerary

Day 01

Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

  • Early in the morning after breakfast, take a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and begin your trek to Phakding.

  • Enjoy views of the landscape of Dudh Koshi, Kongde, Numbur, and Kusum Kanguru.

(35-minute flight and 3-4 hours of walking)

Day 02

Trek from Phakding to Namche

  • Have breakfast and get ready for Namche.

  • Walk for 5-6 hours through the Dudh Koshi riverbed and climb for about 2 hours and 30 minutes after crossing the suspension bridge.

  • Reach the gateway to Everest.

Day 03

Acclimatisation Day in Namche

  • You need proper acclimatisation so that you can hike and walk around on a side trip in Namche.

  • Climb up to the Everest View Hotel in Syangboche.

  • Take in the panorama of the Khumbu region and its pastures.

Day 04

Trek from Namche to Tyangboche

  • Visit the Buddhist shrines in Tyangboche to witness the monks' lifestyle. Feel the spiritual and natural significance of the land of Sherpa and Tibetan costumes.

Trek Up to Dingboche

  • Trek upwards to Dingboche and witness the wildlife and livestock in the highlands.

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche

  • Notice how your movements and pace slow down as you push onward and attempt the highlands and their fantasy on the way to Lobuche.

Day 07

Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp

  • This is a big challenge as you move forward in your attempt for the optimum serenity and tranquillity of your journey to the abode of snow and god.

  • Trek from Lobuche to Everest Base Camp.

Hike to Kalapatthar and Descend to Pheriche

  • Measure your steps while glancing at the highest top in the sky. Feel the goal of your whole journey as you conquer the trip to Everest.

  • Hike up to Kalapatthar and then descend to Pheriche.

Descend from Pheriche to Namche

  • Descend to yet another destination toward ancient civilization and see its western transformation in the lap of the Himalayas.

  • Trek from Pheriche to Namche.

Trek from Namche to Phakding

  • The trip comes almost to an end as you reach Phakding from Namche.

Return Trek from Phakding to Lukla

  • Prepare to pack up and return.

Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu
