Visit the 1st and 29th Infantry Division sectors of Omaha Beach and Pointe du Hoc, then continue to Saint-Mère-Église, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Brecourt Manor, and Utah Beach to follow the actions of the 82nd and 101st Airborne and the 4th Infantry Division.

Day 01

Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc and Arromanches

  • Drop by Omaha Beach, visit the WN 62 German bunkers, and continue to Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer and Vierville-sur-Mer.
  • Visit the cemetery and interpretive center of the Normandy American Cemetery.
  • Go to the remains of the German bunkers and battlefield at Pointe du Hoc.
  • See the German bunkers at the Longues-sur-Mer fortifications.
  • The last stop for the day is Arromanches and the Mulberry Artificial Harbour and Museum, where you can see the artificial ports built by the Allies.

Day 02

Saint-Mère-Église, Utah Beach and La Cambe

  • Explore the town of Saint-Mère-Église, including the museum, and continue to La Fière.
  • Visit Sainte-Marie-du-Mont village, where the 101st Airborne made a junction with the 4th Infantry Division from Utah Beach.
  • Stop at Brecourt Manor, where Easy Company of the 101st Airborne neutralised the German guns, made famous in the Band of Brothers mini-series.
  • Visit Utah Beach, where the 4th Infantry Division landed on June 6th, 1944.
  • The last stop is the La Cambe German War Cemetery.
