Lincoln's Washington, D.C. Walking Tour

Meet your tour guide and start the tour at Freedom Plaza.
See the Willard Hotel.
Walk to the north front of the White House and talk about its history as well as Lincoln's stay there.
Walk by St John's Church and New York Avenue Presbyterian Church.
See where he visited the wounded at the current Portrait Gallery and where he read telegrams at the Monaco Hotel.
See Ford's Theatre and the Peterson House. If tickets are available, we may visit the inside.
We'll end at the site of Mary Surratt's Tavern.
