The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arrival in Victoria Falls

  • On arrival, you will be met by your tour representative and transferred to the Elephant Hills Resort in Victoria Falls.

Dinner will be at the Boma Restaurant.

Overnight at the Elephant Hills Hotel with breakfast.

2
Day 02

Victoria Falls Tour and Transfer to Chobe

  • Your guide will pick you up for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. This is a three-hour tour that will take you via the Big Tree, a 1,500-year-old baobab tree, followed by a two-hour walk in the Victoria Falls rainforest. You will also pass by the craft market for shopping on your way back to the hotel.
  • You will have time for an optional tour, such as a helicopter flight, before the transfer to Botswana.
  • In the afternoon, you will be picked up for the transfer to Botswana, to Chobe National Park, where you will check in at Chobe Bush Lodge for the night.
  • Head out on a sunset boat cruise in the late afternoon. This is a safari into Chobe National Park by boat, and on a good day, lots of wildlife can be seen making their way to the river for the last drink of the day.

Dinner and overnight stay at Chobe Bush Lodge with breakfast.

3
Day 03

Full-Day Safari in Chobe National Park

  • You will be picked up in the morning for a full-day safari in Chobe National Park. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and you will camp for the night towards the western end of the park. Chobe has an impressive wealth of animal life. Elephant and buffalo are a permanent presence on the riverfront in the dry months. Burchell's zebra is very common, while smaller numbers of sable, roan, and greater kudu can be found in the park interior. Lion, wild dog, leopard, and cheetah are all regularly spotted.

Dinner and overnight camping in Chobe National Park.

4
Day 04

Game Drive to Savuti National Park

  • You will do an early morning safari in Chobe National Park and return to camp for breakfast. After breakfast, start the game drive to Savuti National Park. We will be at the campsite in Savuti for lunch and refreshments. Afterwards, you will have another game drive in Savuti National Park. Savuti is known for predators, both big cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah - and birds of prey. Spotted hyenas and their chilling cries are a staple here, and many big bull elephants live out their largely solitary years in this area.

Dinner and overnight camping in Savuti.

5
Day 05

From Savuti to Moremi Game Reserve

  • You will do another early morning game drive in Savuti National Park, and after breakfast, we will leave the camp and move on to Moremi National Park. Moremi Game Reserve is the Okavango Delta's only protected area, and it shelters a fantastic variety of wildlife in its islands, floodplains, grasslands, and forests - including the Big Five.
  • Participate in activities here such as game drives, game walks, speedboat cruises, and the famous mokoro, or dugout canoe, glides.
  • After lunch, we will have one more game-viewing activity before returning for the night of camping.
6
Day 06

Okavango Delta Wildlife and Cultural Experiences

  • You will spend this day in the delta, where you may do mokoro glides, game drives, speed boating, or visit the Basarwa, the bush people who also live in the reserve.

Dinner and overnight stay in the delta.
