Day 01
End of the World Train Station and Tierra del Fuego National Park
- Connect with our tour representative and visit the End of the World Train Station, an important tourist and historical landmark of the city. You can also take a ride on the train at your own expense.
- Continue to Tierra del Fuego National Park, where you will find Zaratiegui Bay and the famous Post Office at the End of the World. From here, you can send postcards to other parts of the world or stamp your passport for an additional cost. You will also enjoy a beautiful perspective of the Chilean side of the island, as you will constantly be close to the border with that country. Go for a short stroll along the coast at the beginning of the Costera Trail, the best-known and most striking trail in the national park.
- Head to Acigami Lake, a beautiful glacial lake located right on the border between Argentina and Chile and shared by both countries, and learn about the different names this lake has.
- Enjoy observing the flora during the rest of the excursion and walk along the edge of the lake.
- Explore the archaeological remains of the Yámana, the ancestors of this region, at Lapataia Bay.
- Discover an incredible landscape where the sea, forest, and mountains merge, along with the history that surrounds this sector.
