Livingstone Museum, Craft Centre and Green Market Tour
- Get picked up from your lodging and begin the tour at 10 in the morning.
- The first place to visit is the Livingstone Museum, where you will stroll through all the sections of the museum. You will be immersed in the history, culture, and traditions of the Zambian people. The history of colonization, liberation, and the town's transformation is all embedded in the archives of this building. Your English-speaking museum guide will be there to explain Zambia's 250-year-old journey. The museum tour will take 1 hour.
- Next, you will drive to Livingstone town, home to many old historical buildings. The local authority has preserved its history for generations, and the town has many restaurants, lodges, bars, and nightclubs. You will also be taken to Mukuni Craft Center, where local crafts and carving are done, and you will see the arrangement of local regalia and various artifacts.
- After the Mukuni Craft Center visit, you will stroll through the Traditional Green Market. Here, you will be introduced to African cuisine. You will meet traders who explain the relevance of every traditional Zambian vegetable they sell.
- You will then drive back to the hotel or lodge, passing through many breathtaking places.
