The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Zanzibar and Transfer to Stone Town

You will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Zanzibar Stone Town, the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar. This place has seen minimal change over the last 200 years, giving you the chance to experience its well-preserved heritage and exotic antiquity.
Have dinner and stay at Tembo House Hotel, equipped with a swimming pool and other amenities such as WiFi and television.

Day 02

Stone Town Heritage Tour and Spice Plantation Visit

After breakfast, you will go on a guided tour of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Experience tracing the footsteps of Arab Sultans in Zanzibar and ponder the interesting historical sites and labyrinths.
See the actual Zanzibar doors, famous for their unique architectural tradition.
After lunch, we will proceed on a countryside tour to the spice plantations. This place has a rich history, and you will be welcomed by the rich aroma of spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon.
We will then head north of Zanzibar to Kendwa Beach, a top favourite for its white sand, clear waters, and romantic sunsets in the evening.

Day 03

Leisure Day at Kendwa Beach

Relax and unwind at Kendwa Beach. It is the perfect place to unwind with a good book and a glass of your favourite beverage.
It is also heaven for underwater lovers, as you can enjoy a day of snorkelling or scuba diving.

Dinner and overnight at Sun Set Kendwa

Day 04

Morning at Kendwa Beach and Departure

On your last day, enjoy the rest of your stay by relaxing in the pool or on the beach while taking in as much sunshine as you can.
Have breakfast, and don't forget to stroll along the white sands of Kendwa and take photos for your loved ones.
In the afternoon, we will take you to the airport for your onward destination.

Despite Zanzibar's turbulent history, it is a safe and welcoming island. In fact, Tanzania is one of the most stable countries in Africa and the most peaceful country in Eastern Africa.
The population of Zanzibar is almost entirely Muslim, and women cover up and dress modestly. The colours of the fabrics, however, are far from conservative.
Gift-giving is a generous act of affection, gratitude, and celebration.
Although gift-giving is appreciated and is a beautiful exchange with the locals, tipping is highly appreciated and expected.
The cheapest way to get around the island is by using the dala-dala from one side of the island to the other.
