The itinerary

Day 01

Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara Discovery

Get picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by your tour guide at 8:00 a.m. and head to the Giza Pyramids Complex.
Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos.
Check out the Valley Temple, where the priests mummified the body of King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid on the Giza Plateau. It is also the same place where you can have a close-up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands beside the massive funerary complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren. (2.30 hrs)
Then continue your day tour to Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest of Cairo.
There, visit the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser. It is considered an important part of the process of pyramid evolution, from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. (2 hrs)
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
