Day 01

Snowmobile Ride to a Husky Kennel and 3 km Safari

• Go on a brisk snowmobile ride to a husky kennel, where the dogs will welcome you with friendly barking.
• At the kennel, you will enjoy a husky safari of approximately 3 km, and you will also learn about the life of huskies.
• Enjoy hot beverages served around a campfire so you can warm up again, and then ride the snowmobile back to Rovaniemi.

What to bring

• Remember to bring your valid driving license, or a photocopy, with you on the day of the trip.
• Printed booking confirmation and e-tickets are both accepted.
• We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
• In wintertime, warm winter clothes with a scarf and hat are recommended, as the temperature can be as low as -35 Celsius degrees.
• It is recommended that you have travel insurance because healthcare costs may be high in the unlikely event of an accident.

Know before you go

• Please make sure your phone is on during the tour day.
• This tour operates only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
• This tour is unavailable on certain days: Dec 25th, 2021, and Jan 1st, 2022.
• Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.
• Please note that the pick-up times for the safari/excursion vary depending on your accommodation. We kindly ask you to check the correct time carefully in your booking confirmation.
• The tour operates in all weather conditions; therefore, please dress appropriately. However, the tour may be adapted or cancelled in case of unsafe weather conditions.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• A minimum passenger requirement applies. There is a possibility of cancellation or rescheduling if there are not enough passengers to meet the requirement. In the event of cancellation due to passenger requirements, you will receive a full refund.
• Each snowmobile is shared by 2 guests who take turns driving. For solo driving, please choose Sole Driving.
• The snowmobile driver must be at least 18 years of age and hold a driver's license valid in Finland.
• Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by the laws of Finland.
• This safari is CO2 compensated for snowmobile fuel emissions.
• When sharing the husky sleigh on the safari, one person stands behind the sleigh as the controller, and one person sits in the sleigh as the passenger.
• Self-liability can be reduced to 150 € by paying a waiver supplement of 15 € per safari driver.
