Day 01

Arrival in Ivalo with Aurora Cabin Stay and Winter Activities

Get picked up from Ivalo Airport. Depending on your arrival time and the weather conditions, your winter activities will be organised accordingly.
Enjoy a 2-hour snowmobile safari, a reindeer feeding experience, a reindeer sleigh ride, and one night of aurora hunting.
In addition, you can use cross-country skis, ice-skates, toboggans, and snowshoes free of charge so that you can fully enjoy this Arctic winter.
Stay in the Aurora glass cabin for 2 nights during your time in Ivalo.

What to bring

IMPORTANT! Remember to bring your valid driving license, or a photocopy of it, with you on the day of the trip.
Please make sure your phone is ON during the tour day.
Both printed booking confirmations and e-tickets are accepted.
We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
In wintertime, warm winter clothes with a scarf and hat are recommended, as the temperature can be as low as -35 degrees Celsius.
It is recommended that you have travel insurance because, in the very unlikely event of an accident, health care costs may be high.

Know before you go

The check-in time is 16:00. Early check-in is subject to availability.
The check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Late check-out until 14:00 costs 50€. Late check-out until 20:00 costs 50% of the accommodation rate.
A minimum of 2 paid adults is required for a booking.
The capacity of each Aurora glass cabin is 2-4 persons.
Day-to-day scheduling will be done by the hotel according to availability and weather conditions.
For bookings covering 24th, 25th, and 31st December, an extra fee of 41 € per person is compulsory for the festive buffet.
All glass cabins and indoor spaces are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only outdoors.
The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years of age and hold a driver's license valid in Finland.
Driving a motorized vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs is prohibited by Finnish law.
