Tour of Aswan Highlights
- Be picked up and assisted from your hotel in Aswan and begin your day tour in the wonderful city of Aswan.
- Start your tour with a visit to the High Dam and the High Dam Lake, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual floods of the Nile River.
- Go to visit the Unfinished obelisk, which illustrates the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. This obelisk most likely belongs to Queen Hatshepsut, but there is an opinion said that it belongs to Queen Nefertiti.
- Proceed to visit the majestic Philae Temple which was built in honour of the island’s main goddess, Isis.
- You will later be transferred to your hotel.
