The itinerary

1
Day 01

Tour #1: To/From Jaffa through the Sharon to/from Nazareth

This tour can start in Tel Avis area and end in Nazareth and vice versa. Meet your guide in Tel Aviv area or in the Galilee and visit:

  • Jaffa: Stop by the panoramic view of Jaffa overlooking Tal Aviv and visit St. Peter Church, the possibility to walk down to the port of Jaffa, which was used by Jonah for his mistaken journey.  
  • Caesarea*: Watch a movie on the history of Caesarea (subject to availability) and walk through the archaeological site to see the theatre, the palace, the hippodrome and touch the waters of the Mediterranean sea.

  • Mt. Carmel **: Visit the Elijah sacrifice site at Mt. Carmel near Haifa overlooking the Jezreel Plains.

  • Megiddo*: Walk through the multiple layer ruins of this long history site and listen to the historical and biblical stories. Reflect on the war of the Last Day, as mentioned in the Book of Revelation.

  • Mt. Precipice: Stand on a breathtaking panorama to see Nazareth, Mt. Tabor, Jezreel Plain, the Gilead and more. Listen to the long history of this area.

Day 02

Tour #2: Lower Galilee

  • Mt. Tabor: Head to Mt. Tabor for another gorgeous panoramic view and reflect on the transfiguration of Jesus on this mountain. Identify other biblical and New Testament events that took place around this mountain. 
  • Cana of Galilee: Visit the Church of the Wedding in Cana of Galilee near Nazareth and reflect on its unique Gospel story. 
  • Stop by one of the wine and souvenir shops to taste Cana's wine.
  • Nazareth Walking Tour: Walk down the streets and isles of Nazareth through the old city and stop by significant sites including St. Gabriel Church, old city Shops, Church of the Synagogue and Church of Annunciation.

Day 03

Tour #3: Sea of Galilee

  • Mt. Beatitudes: Stand on top of the fantastic northern point of the Sea of Galilee. This is where Jesus gave His famous Sermon of the Mount. Reflect on His messages and share your life experience with others.
  • Fish & Loaves Multiplication Church and St. Peter's Primacy Church: Visit these special sites and remind yourself of the various key events in the Ministry of Jesus in the Area. Enjoy the possibility to dip your feet in the waters of the Sea of Galilee.
  • Capernaum**: Walk through the ruins of the Town of Jesus and visit the House of St. Peter's Mother in Law, a place that became one of the first Christian Prayer Houses, then stop by the Synagogue. Reflect on the many events of the New Testament that took place in this town. 
  • Magdala**: Stand in front of the newly excavated authentic Synagogue, in which Jesus taught and see the stone made an altar with the carved menorah and temple. Visit the newly built church with wonderful paintings and boat-like altar.
  • Boat Ride: Take a 45 minutes wooden boat ride and sail along the shores of this amazing lake used by Jesus to teach, heal and perform His miracles. This is a unique journey involving wonderful nature and deep spiritual feelings. 
  • Yardenit - Northern Baptismal Site: Visit The Jordan, a tiny river but the only one mentioned 181 times in the Bible. Beside this river, John the Baptists called people for repentance and also baptized The Son of God. It is your chance to touch & feel its water and also be baptized.

Day 04

Tour #4: Northern Israel & Golan Heights

  • Hazor*: Walk through the ancient gates and the recovered Javen's palace of this beautiful archaeological site. Hazor was the northern Gate of the Holy Land through ages. Watch the Hula Valley, Golan Heights and Mt. Hermon. 
  • Dan*: It is a walk-in paradise with trees, springs and tiny isles with the sounds of birds and more. The trail takes us to the Israelite ruins of the tribe of Dan and later the Kingdom of Israel. 
  • Proceed to the sacred hill that was made as an alternative to the Temple in Jerusalem, view the border with Lebanon, and not leave the site until we see the Abraham Gate. This is the Canaanite gate entered by Father Abraham as he came to rescue his kinsman. 
  • Caesarea Philippi*: It is one of the three sources of the Jordan next to Dan and the Hasbani. A Roman city that Jesus visited to ask His fundamental but straightforward question: "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?". Try to answer this question and reflect on its purpose. 
  • Golan Heights: An afternoon tour with various stops in the Golan Heights, including Druzes Towns, Panoramic View overlooking Syria (Bashan area). The tour can be extended to include a wine tasting stop and other interesting industries in the area.

Day 05

Tour #5: Haifa & Acre

  • Haifa Panoramic View, Stella Maris (Carmelite Monastery): Haifa is The Bride of the Sea, located at the far northern tip of Mt. Carmel. Stand on top and view the amazing view of the Bahai Gardens and the German colony.
  • Drive to the Stella Maris area and visit the Church of the Carmelites with the cave of Elisha.  
  • Acre: The Crusaders Ruins** & Acre Old City Walking Tour: Sitting on the northern side of the Haifa bay, Acre is one of the oldest cities in the Holy Land with ruins dated to the Canaanites. We will visit the Crusader's complex and then walk through the ancient city to see its fortifications and fishers port. It is a unique opportunity to visit one of the fish restaurants and enjoy the Mediterranean fish.

Day 06

Tour #6: Drive through Samaria and Jericho

  • Samaria: Drive through Samaria and stop by the City of Samaria (today it is called Sebastia). Walk through the Roman ruins of King Herod and the Palace of the Omri Dynasty, reminding of this sinful family of kings. Reflect on one of the richest sites of the biblical areas 
  • Shechem: Here we have the special chance to drink from the same well Jesus stopped by on His way to Galilee when He asked the Samaritan woman for a drink. 
  • It is also a wonderful opportunity to see the two mountains surrounding Shechem (Nablus) - Gerizim and Ebal and "make an oath" to follow God's commandments, as the Israelite tribes made some 3,200 years ago. 
  • Jericho: One of the oldest cities on earth with ruins dated back to the neolith era. By this afternoon time. we will view the Mt. of Temptation and stop by the Sycamore tree of Zacharias. Do not leave Jericho before you taste the dates of The City of Palms. 
  • Ramps up to Jerusalem and enter the city from the eastern side to first see the amazing Temple Mount, Mt. of Olives and the Kidron valley in between.

Day 07

Tour #7 (2 Days): Jerusalem & Bethlehem

  • Jerusalem - Mt. of Olives:  There is no better place to start your Jerusalem tour. Next to the fantastic panoramic view of the city, you can visit the various churches and holy sites, including the Dominus Flevit and Garden of Gethsemane. Use the same way Jesus used upon His Triumphal entry to Jerusalem on the Palms Sunday.

  • Mt. Zion (Upper Room,  Caiaphas House**): The Western Hills of Jerusalem overlooks David's City, Siloam and the Kidron Valley. We will visit the Upper Room and Caiaphas House** and touch one of the climax events of the late chapters of the Holy Gospel.

  • Bethlehem: Shepherds Field: Our afternoon journey to Bethlehem starts in the Shepherds Field where the angels of Father God descended here to bring the good news to the modest shepherds, reminding on the declaration of Jesus of being the Good Shepherd.  

  • Church of Nativity: We will conclude our fabulous day as we make our steps up to the place where Matthew starts his Holy Gospel. We will stand in the Grotto where the New Born Jesus entered our physical world and was laid in a manger; Christmas began here.

  • This is the second day of the 2 days package of Jerusalem and Bethlehem.  We will start the journey ramping up to the Temple Mt. (not on Friday or Saturday).

  • An then proceed to the Bethesda Pools**, the Via Dolorosa and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

  • Afternoon, we will make our way through the market of the Christian Quarter to the Jaffa Gate, then the Jewish Quarter, and end the day close to the Dung Gate to stand in front of the Western Wall. It is a spiritually, historic and culturally rich day that you will never forget.

Day 08

Tour #8: Western Jerusalem

  • Israel Museum**: Walk around the Jesus times' huge Jerusalem model, touch the places you read about in the Bible, and then make your way to the Shrine of the Book to see authentic samples of the Dead Sea scrolls and other ancient scriptures. 
  • Yad Vashem (The Holocaust Museum): The brutality of humanity is presented here, a story of a massacre that cannot and shall not be wiped from people's memory. Walk through the museum to follow the story of those who found their way with deadly trains taking them to the concentration camps and then to the gas cells. This is a genuinely touching experience that you may want to see. 
  • Ein Kerem: John the Baptist Monastery, the Church of Visitation: The town of Zachariah and Elizabeth, this is where Mary's long journey from Nazareth ended right after the annunciation, as per the book of Luke. It is here where she met Elizabeth at her six months of pregnancy. It is also here where John the Baptist was born; we will read both the Benedictus and the Magnificat, the two prayers that brought back hope to humanity.

Day 09

Tour #9: Dead Sea Day

  • Masada Fortress**:  Ride the cable car after seeing the introduction movie and walk through this amazing mountain's Roman and Jewish ruins. Take photos of this breathtaking position and touch the places of the heroic stories of those who preferred to die rather than surrender. 
  • Ein Gedi *: Enjoy the hike up to the waterfall and go back in mind to the brave leadership story of David as he escaped from King Saul. It is an oasis with a charming stream of water flowing down the David Valley
  • Qumran *: Stand in front of those caves where the Judea desert scrolls were found and hear about the Essenes who spent their evenings for centuries to script again and again that same bible we still read until today. 
  • Dead Sea Swim & Relax **: After the rich historical and hiking day, it is time to relax and float over the salty waters of the Dead Sea. Enjoy your afternoon in one of the certified beaches by swimming and sitting in a café' to have your afternoon drink or ice cream.

Day 10

Tour #10: Biblical Valley’s in the Shefella

  • Visit the three valleys in a row from north to south. These valleys remind us of the stories of the books of Joshua, Judges and Samuel exactly in the same order of the Bible.

    • Emmaus & Ajalon Valley: Known to be the place where Joshua fought against the five kings as he promised protection to the people of Gibeon. We will also enter Emmaus **, the town of the 2 disciples who met Jesus after His Resurrection to read through Luke 24.  

    • Beth Shemesh & Sorek Valley: Here, we have the chance to read the story of Shimshon and his dramatic life. We will not leave the valley until we try to follow the Ark of Covenant. This is where the curiosity of the people of Beth Shemesh brought them to death.  

    • Elah Valley: One more valley southwards will bring us to where the young David took the challenge to lift the threat from his people. The drama of Saul's jealousy and the close friendship with Jonathan started here.

  • If time permits, we may also stop by a special place called Beth Jimal, reminding on the name of Rabbai Gamliel who protested against the persecution of the early Christian and according to the tradition, took the relicts of Stephan to burry them here.
