The itinerary

Day 01

Uros Floating Islands

We will depart from your hotel, until reach the starting point, at the Lake Titicaca shore. We will cross the lake looking the beautiful fauna and flora around. We will pass by the rocky island, and finally we will reach the Uros floating islands. We will visit these incredible totora islands, and learn the community customs and lifestyle. We will return by kayak through the totora islands, and admire the different birds around this place.

Taquile Island

After making the first visit by kayak, we will take a motor boat to go towards Taquile Island. At the arrival, we will have a warm welcome from the community, and you can see their lifestyle, as well as their precious textiles. We will have lunch with the local people, and back to the starting point in Puno, and then transfer to your hotel.

Lake Titicaca has an average altitude of 3,800 m.a.s.l., so we recommend prior acclimatization for the excursion.
Pick up from centrally downtown Puno hotels, or hotels located on the shores of the Lake Titicaca. Pick up is not valid from hotels located far from the city center, such as Hotel Jose Antonio, Hotel El Mirador del Titikaka, B&B Winay Pacha, Taypikala Hotel Lago.
