10-Day Iguazu & Patagonia Tour From Buenos Aires

We will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to the selected hotel. Here, you will check in and have the day free to explore the surroundings of the city or relax in the hotel areas.

Early in the morning, we will take a transfer to the airport to fly to Iguazu. Upon arrival, we will visit the falls on the Brazilian side. On the Brazilian side of the falls, we will start our tour in a bus that will take us to the beginning of the footbridges. From there, there is a panoramic view of the Argentinean Falls: an excellent place for some good pictures. On this tour, we will can see the Iguazú River canyon, the Rivadavia and Tres Mosqueteros Falls, among others. Towards the end we will find the lower viewpoint of Garganta del Diablo and the last point is the Salto Floriano, where there is an elevator that will take us to the meeting point with the guides.

We will move to start the excursion to the Iguazu Falls on the Argentine side with the possibility of visiting some of the 275 crescent-shaped falls. During this excursion you can enjoy the following rides: 

Upper circuit: From this circuit you'll have an upper view of the Iguazu Falls, enjoying their magnificence with a panoramic view. The duration of the tour is one hour. 

Lower circuit: With 1.600 meters of catwalks, this circuit provides a unique experience where you'll be feeling as a part of the natural surroundings, watching and sensing their magnitude from up close. The duration of the tour is two hours.

Garganta del Diablo: Departing from Cataratas Station, the train goes up to Garganta Station in about 18 minutes. Then a walk along the catwalks about 1200 meters over the islands will take you to enjoy the Devil's Gorge, the most spectacular sight from the Iguazu Falls. Time required: two hours.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Buenos Aires with connection at Aeroparque to continue to the city of Trelew. You will be met at the airport and take a transfer to the city of Puerto Madryn. You will have the rest of the day off.

In this full day excursion, you will explore with naturalist guides the Peninsula Valdés, which contains different unique species found in the area. 

The first stop will be at the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Center. We will enjoy the panoramic point to observe the New Gulf, San José and the Island of the Birds. Then, we will make another stop in the town of Puerto Pirámides where depending on the season (from June to December) you can take whale watching (this is optional, not included).

Continuing the tour, subject to the season or weather will be visited in different order or combined with other stops: Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor, and Punta Norte to observe elephant seals, penguins and sea lions. The terrestrial orca watching can be done from Punta Norte, having more possibilities to see them in the months of March and April. Also during September in Caleta Valdés (less frequently).

After breakfast, you will take a transfer to the airport to fly to El Calafate. Once you arrive in El Calafate, you will take a transfer to the hotel.

We will go to the Los Glaciares National Park and once we arrive at the park, we will go to the Curva de los Suspiros, where you will observe the Perito Moreno Glacier for the first time: Undoubtedly, the first image is awesome.

Later, we will make another stop at the Bajo las Sombras Pier, where those who wish can navigate to make an approach to the southern wall of the Glacier (this is optional). We will then continue to the footbridges, where we will observe the glacier from several balconies located at different heights. It allows us to appreciate it from different angles, each one more surprising than the previous one.  

In the morning, you will have a transfer to the airport and flight to Buenos Aires. You will be transferred to your selected hotel and have the rest of the afternoon free.

We will pick you up from your hotel and then start the tour of this unique city full of passion, history and art. We will visit one of the main avenues, 9 de Julio Avenue, where we will see the Colon Theatre and the Obelisk, an emblematic monument of the city. Then, we will make the first stop to visit the Plaza de Mayo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government House and the Cabildo.

The tour will continue southwards through the old San Telmo neighborhood, passing by Lezama Park until we reach La Boca neighborhood, where we will make the second stop: Here, we will see the famous Boca Juniors football stadium, one of the greatest exponents of the Argentine Passion and we will visit the famous Caminito: Full of color, magic and history. Then, we will pass bordering the Riachuelo towards the other end of the city passing by the port towards Puerto Madero, Retiro with its central square San Martin. The next point is the modern sector of Buenos Aires: Palermo, green zone of the city. Then, we will circulate around the exclusive and sophisticated neighborhood of La Recoleta to finish our excursion in the central area of Buenos Aires.

On the other hand, around 7:30 PM, we'll get our Señor Tango Show tour started by picking you up from your hotel and heading over to the venue, one of the oldest tanguerias in the history of Argentine Tango. When you sit down for dinner at 8:30, you will be presented with a variety of Argentine and international dishes. At 10 PM, the best tango show begins with 9 couples onstage dancing traditional Tango: With a live orchestra and a accredited Tango singer to accompany them, the dancers will show you what true, passionate tango looks like.

As the spectacular show comes to an end, we will bring our tour to a close by dropping you back at your hotels, after a truly unique and unforgettable evening. 

You will be transferred to the airport for a flight back home or to your next destination. This is the end of this great experience!
