The itinerary

Day 01

Scenic Drive and Free Time in Key West

Pick up at the hotel by 7 AM.
Begin the trip to the southern and western Keys, crossing between the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Florida Straits.
Stop before the 7 Mile Bridge, where each side reveals some of the clearest water.
Enjoy the four-hour drive to Key West.
Then take a short drive again, after which you will be on your own to walk around or take the Conch Train through the island for 60 to 90 minutes.
Enjoy four hours in Key West and then meet again at a central location.
Head back to Miami by 4 PM. The additional 2 hours are for various stops along the way.
