Day 01

Sahara Discovery from El Jem to Douz

Discover the amphitheatre of El Jem, the third largest and one of the best-preserved in the world.
Drive up to the mountains to enjoy the Berber cave dwellings of Matmata, home of Luke Skywalker, unique in North Africa, and have lunch there.
Continue to the Berber hinterland and the Berber villages connecting the sea to the great Sahara Desert.
Stop in Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, to enjoy the sunset on the white dunes. Different activities can be recommended on the spot, such as a walking tour on the dunes or a camel ride.

Day 02

Tozeur Medina, Salt Flats, Chebika and Midès

Drive through the palm groves of the south to the salt flats, the largest in North Africa.
Visit the medina of Tozeur with its outstanding architectural style.
Explore the mountain oasis of Chebika with its amazing palm trees, abandoned Berber villages, and the canyons of Midès, a shooting site for Indiana Jones and Star Wars, before driving back to the starting point.
