The itinerary

Day 01

Roatán Island Sightseeing, Boat Tour and Snorkelling

• Pick up at the cruise ship terminal at either of the two ports, depending on your cruise ship.
• Then head to the high viewpoint in Coxen Hole, where you can take spectacular pictures and shop.
• Continue to the shipwreck viewpoint in Dixon Cove.
• Afterwards, drive east to the French Harbour fishing town, passing through other communities for sightseeing and learning about their history and customs.
• Then drive toward the West End of Roatán to the beach, where you will board a boat for a shoreside tour and sightsee the island from the ocean.
• Pass by the Institute for Marine Science in Sandy Bay, where they have dolphins. You can see them in the water and sometimes performing.
• Return to the West End, where the reef wall drops, and get in the water. You will be provided with snorkel gear, and the guide will be in the water with you to show you the beauty underwater.
• Afterwards, return to the beach, where you can relax and enjoy the facilities there for one hour.
• Then pack up and head back to the ship.
