The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival, Shtip, Kuklice and Kokino to Skopje

Meet your tour guide at the airport and transfer to Macedonia.
Have lunch in Shtip and try the traditional Shtipska pastrmajlija. Then drive to Kuklice to see the naturally shaped Stone Dolls.
Continue to Kokino, a natural megalithic observatory and sanctuary, ranked fourth in the world by NASA.
Transfer to your hotel in Skopje and check in. Have dinner in a local restaurant serving traditional Macedonian food.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 02

Skopje, Mount Vodno and Canyon Matka

After breakfast, drive to Mount Vodno and visit the 12th-century monastery of St. Pantelejmon.
Next, visit Canyon Matka, about 15 km from Skopje. Walk along the canyon and take a boat trip to Vrelo, one of the deepest underwater caves in Europe and the world.
Return to Skopje for lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, go on a walking tour of Skopje.
Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03

Tetovo, Mavrovo and Galicnik to Ohrid

After breakfast, visit the 15th-century colourful mosque in Tetovo, then drive to Mavrovo Lake through Mavrovo National Park.
Have lunch at a local restaurant in Galicnik and visit the monastery of St. John Bigorski, an 11th-century monastery.
Drive to Ohrid and check in at the hotel.
Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 04

St. Naum and Ohrid Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to St. Naum to visit the St. Naum Monastery.
Take a short boat trip to the springs of the Black Drim river and see the place where the river flows into Lake Ohrid.
Next, have lunch at St. Naum in a local restaurant, then return to Ohrid for a sightseeing tour of the city.
Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 05

Struga, Vevchani and Lake Ohrid Cruise

After breakfast, drive to Struga and go for a short walk through the city to see the natural phenomenon where the Black Drim river exits Lake Ohrid.
Next, drive to Vevchani village to visit the beautiful Vevchani springs. Have lunch in Kutmichevica, a local restaurant serving homemade traditional food.
Return to Ohrid and board a one-hour catamaran cruise on the lake.
Enjoy some free time in Ohrid, then have dinner in a local restaurant.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 06

Bitola, Jewish Cemetery and Heraklea

After breakfast, drive to Bitola, the second-largest city in Macedonia.
Visit the Jewish cemetery, then drive to Heraklea, the ancient city founded by Philip II of Macedon.
Have lunch in a local restaurant and check in at the hotel.
Walk through the city and enjoy free time to experience the spirit of Bitola.
Have dinner in a local restaurant and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 07

Stobi Winery and Departure

After breakfast, drive to Stobi, one of the many Macedonian wineries.
Walk through the winery to see the wine-making process. Have lunch with wine tasting at the winery.
After lunch, transfer to Thessaloniki airport for departure.
