The itinerary

Day 01

Kosgoda, Madu River Safari and Galle Fort Tour

• Meet your chauffeur at your hotel in Colombo, Kalutara, or Bentota at 08:00 am and proceed to Kosgoda in a private car.
• Visit the Turtle Hatchery and Research Centre at Kosgoda, where you can enjoy and learn about sea turtles in the Indian Ocean.
• Then proceed to Balapitiya and go on a 1.5-hour boat safari on the famous Madu River.
• During the tour, you will visit the biggest island in the river.
• See the temple on the island, go to Cinnamon Island, and visit a fish spa on the river.
• After your boat ride, proceed to Galle, where you will have lunch at a Sri Lankan restaurant.
• Visit the Traditional Mask Museum at Ambalangoda.
• After lunch, proceed to the popular Hikkaduwa or Unawatuna beach to relax and enjoy the beach.
• Then return to Galle Dutch Fort for a walk through the fort, followed by a city tour.
• At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back at your hotel via the expressway in your private car.
