Day 01

Mount Tabor, Cana, Sepphoris and Nazareth

Meet your tour guide in Nazareth, or at another agreed location, and start your tour.
Ascend toward Mount Tabor by car and enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Nazareth ridge, the Jezreel Plain, Mt. Carmel, Mt. Gilboa, and Gilead across the Jordan. Learn about the history of the mountain and its biblical references, and reflect on the Transfiguration event.
Visit the crypt of the Wedding Church in Cana of Galilee and discuss the deep meaning of this extraordinary Gospel. Stop by one of the Cana wine stores and sip from its special collection.
Walk along the Cardo and the Decumanus of ancient Sepphoris. Visit the special Nile mosaic with its wonderful figures, stop by the villa to view the Mona Lisa of the Galilee, and talk about the wine parties and Greek mythology. Proceed to the Roman theatre and conclude this part of the visit at the ancient synagogue.
Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. It is the place where Father God decided to renew His Covenant with mankind. St. Gabriel appeared to a virgin called Mary to offer her the role of Mother of God.
