Itinerary

1. Day 1: Colombo to Sigiriya

   • On your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by the representative who will be your chauffeur for the tour and drive directly to Sigiriya.
   • According to the arrival time on the way, you will stop at Dambulla Cave Temple. otherwise, visit Dambulla Temple later.

   Overnight in Sigiriya.

2. Day 2: Sigiriya-Polonnaruwa

   • In the morning, you will be taken to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa where you can explore the ruins left by the Cholas Dynasty. 
   • Afterwards, you can have Sri Lankan Rice and Curry. Then, drive to Minnriya National Park for a safari to see a lot of elephants.
   • After the safari, return to your hotel.

   Overnight in Sigiriya.

3. Day 3: Sigiriya - Kandy

   • After breakfast, you will go for the famous Sigiriya rock climbing. 
   • Then, move to the famous city of Kandy with a visit to the Spice Garden on the way. 
   • Arrive at your hotel in the city. Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession

   Overnight stay at the hotel in Kandy.

4. Day 4: Sightseeing in Kandy

   • After breakfast, you are going to see places in Kandy. 
   • Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and Botanical Garden, and in the evening you are going to see the traditional Sri Lankan dance programme.

   Overnight at Kandy.

5. Day 5: Kandy-Ella

   • After breakfast, drive to Nuwara Eliya or you can call it "Little England" as well. 
   • On the way to Nuwara Eliya where you can see some waterfalls and tea plantations and then, drive to Ella by train, depending on the day, otherwise drive to Ella by car.

   Overnight stay at Ella.

6. Day 6: Tissamaharama

   • After breakfast, start visiting popular places in Ella like the Little Adam's peak and the Nine Arches Bridge. 
   • Afterwards, you will head to Tissamaharama to visit the famous Yala National Park with en-route visit to the famous waterfall, Rawana.
   • When you arrive at the park, check-in at your hotel and have lunch. Then, head for a wildlife safari in the park.
   • Return to the hotel and take rest.

   Overnight stay in Thissamaharama.

7. Day 7: Tissamaharama- Mirissa Beach

   • After breakfast, you will transfer to Mirissa. Once you reach Mirissa, you will check in at a hotel there and spend the night.

   Overnight at Mirissa.

8. Day 8: Departure

   • After breakfast at the hotel, according to the flight departure time, you will be departing for Bandaranaike International Airport in time to catch your flight (at least 2-3 hours before your flight).
