- Meet your tour guide at your hotel in Cairo or Giza to enjoy visiting the museums of Cairo.
- Visit the Egyptian Museum, which houses the most extensive collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era. The museum also houses the splendid statues of the great kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the builders of the pyramids at the Giza plateau. An extensive collection of papyri, sarcophagi and jewellery, among other objects, completes this uniquely expansive museum.
- Then, move to visit the Museum Of Royal Carriages that exhibits around 78 historically valuable royal carriages. Twenty-two carriages of this collection were gifts presented to the rulers of Egypt since the reign of Khedive Ismail.
- Have lunch in a local restaurant and proceed to the Museum Of Islamic Art in Cairo, which is considered one of the largest and oldest museums in the world. The museum hosts more than 104,000 displays reflecting the greatness of the Islamic civilization in Egypt and the whole Islamic world and showing how it has flourished and changed throughout history.
- Then, you will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the first museum dedicated to the entire Egyptian civilization. More than 50,000 artifacts will relate to the stages of the development of civilization from the earliest times to the modern era. You can see the display of a 35,000-year-old skeleton and the first and oldest watch known by the ancient Egyptians. It also includes the most important collection of mummies “Ramses II, Hatshepsut and Thutmose III.
