Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

   • After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi to depart for Maasai Mara through the Great African Rift Valley Escarpment, where you will have a stop at the viewing point to view the Valley from the Escarpment. 
   • Then continue with the drive along the valley to Maasai town called Narok which is the Administration Headquarters for the Maasai community. Arrive here before midday and have a brief stopover for refreshment and refuelling.  
   • After that continue with your drive to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Check in to your Lodge, have your lunch and continue for an introductory game drive up to sunset. 

   Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.

2. Day 2: Full-day at Maasai Mara

   • After early morning breakfast, depart at 7:30 am with packed lunch to proceed for a full-day game drive searching for its popular animals like the well-known Big Five - elephant, leopard, rhino, buffalo and lion. Also, predators like lions, leopards, cheetah, hyenas, wild dogs etc. and their opponents, like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and many other animals in the park.
   • Visit the Mara River where the dangerous Crocodile is resting while waiting for food to come, and that is where you will be able to see other water animals like hippos; then go to the pick-nick site where you will have lunch near the migration corridor where the wildebeest usually uses to migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in Kenya crossing Mara river. 
   • From here, you can see if the wildebeests are re-grouping on the other side to start crossing. 
   • After lunch, you will continue with the game drive, driving back to your accommodation.

3. Day 3: Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru

   • Leave for an early morning game drive till 9:00 am in search of animals hunting, killing and eating after which drive back to your lodge for full breakfast. 
   • After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru with lunch en-route. After lunch, continue with your journey arriving in Lake Nakuru National Park in the evening with a game drive en-route to your Lodge. 
   • Check in to your lodge for Dinner and overnight.

4. Day 4: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi

   • Leave for an early morning game drive in the national park to find if you can spot the elusive leopard, which is being spotted frequently in the park.
   • Lake Nakuru is well known for its many species of birds and thousands of flamingos. Take a further drive to see the two species of Rhinos found in the park. Continue with your game drive up to around noon and drive back to your lodge for lunch. 
   • After lunch, leave Lake Nakuru National Park for Nairobi with a game drive to the Park gate to exit, arriving in Nairobi by evening. 
   • You will be dropped off at your hotel or place of residence.
