Explore Saqqara, Dahshur and Giza's Ancient Monuments
- Our first stop is Saqqara:
- King Djoser's Step Pyramid, the first pyramid in Egypt, designed by the genius architect Imhotep.
- Next, we visit Dahshur's pyramids:
- The Red Pyramid, also known as the "North Pyramid", is the largest of the pyramids located in Dahshur. It is the first complete pyramid of King Sneferu.
- King Sneferu's Bent Pyramid, the second complete pyramid built by Sneferu.
- Here, we could also enjoy a camel ride.
- At this point, we take a break for lunch.
- Lastly, we visit the grand monuments at Giza:
- The Great Pyramids of Giza: the three pyramids of the Kings Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus; the only standing wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
- The Sphinx: the famous large statue representing the head of King Chephren and the body of a lion.
