3-Day Trekking Tour of Mai Châu and Pu Luong with Thai Homestay

• Meet your tour guide at 8:00 am at your hotel in Hanoi and drive to Mai Châu.
• Admire the magnificent scenery on both sides of the road, then stop at a local market and the village of Pom Coong for a short rest and lunch in a stilt house of the Thai ethnic minority.
• Hike through the Pu Luong Reserve, walking amidst rice fields and gigantic mountains, and cross small villages to witness the traditional daily life of the locals all around you in this natural paradise.
• Travel to one of the Thai stilt houses for an overnight stay.

• Wake up early and go on a short hike to admire the serene sunrise and observe farmers bustling about their daily activities in the authentic scenery of rural life.
• Have breakfast at the Thai house before starting the trek. The first stretch is the hardest, with some steep climbs and exciting river-crossing activities.
• Enjoy the stunning views of the valley, rice terraces, rainforests, and streams from a high vantage point.
• Reach Hin village for lunch, then continue to Hieu Village, one of Vietnam's most aesthetically beautiful rural villages.
• Proceed to Kho Muong village, a peaceful village amid the high mountains, where you can spend your time freely by strolling around the village and interacting with the locals, or simply relaxing at the eco-homestay. At night, you'll have time to drink and socialize with the friendly locals amidst the tranquil ambience of Kho Muong.
• Travel back to the traditional Thai-style stilt house for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Wake up early in the morning and embark on a 3-hour trek, starting with a nice, easy stretch that gives you a chance to relax, connect with your surroundings, and warm up for the challenges ahead.
• Rest in Ban Hieu Village, and after that, conquer some steep climbs and even more thrilling river crossings before the valley opens up into fantastic views from your elevated position. Once you've spent enough time enjoying these sights, continue on to Pho Doan Village.
• Take some more time to rest before heading to the main road and departing for Hanoi.
• Stop for lunch along the way, then continue to Hanoi.
