Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Maasai Mara

   • After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi and depart for Maasai Mara through the Great African Rift Valley Escarpment, where you will have a stop at the viewing point to view the Valley from the Escarpment. 
   • Continue with the drive through the Valley to a Maasai town called Narok, the Administration Headquarters for the Maasai community.
   • Arriving at the Narok town before midday and have a brief stopover for refreshment and refuelling. After that, continue with your drive to Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. 
   • Check-in at your lodge, have your lunch and continue for an introductory game drive up to sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

   • After early morning breakfast, depart for game drives at 7:30 am with packed lunch. Proceed for a full-day game drive in search of its popular animals like the well-known Big Five e.g. Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, Buffalo and Lion. 
   • You can also see predators like lion, leopard, cheater, hyena, wild dogs etc. and their opponents, like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and many other animals in the park with a visit to the Mara River where the dangerous Crocodile is resting while waiting for food to come for the water in the River. Here, you can also see other water animals and hippos.
   • Then, return to the pick-nick site where you will have lunch near the migration corridor which the wildebeests usually use to migrate from Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara in Kenya crossing the Mara river. 
   • From here, one can see if the Wildebeests are re-grouping on the other side to start crossing. After lunch, you will continue with the game drive, driving back to your accommodation.

3. Day 3: Maasai Mara- Nairobi

   • Go for an early morning game drive at 9:00 to see animals hunting, killings and eating. Drive back to your lodge for full breakfast. 
   • After breakfast, leave Maasai Mara for Nairobi with lunch en-route arriving late afternoon, to be dropped back at your hotel.
