The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Cape Town

  • Arrive in Cape Town and attend a pre-departure briefing by your driver-guide, who will also collect your local payments. Then spend the rest of the evening at leisure, exploring the town.

Day 02

Cape Town City Tour and Cederberg Mountains

  • After an early morning breakfast, enjoy an included city tour of Cape Town.
  • Then proceed to the Cederberg Mountains, arriving in the early evening. After checking in, enjoy an included wine tasting activity, which is the highlight of the South African part of the tour. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Day 03

Cederberg Mountains to Orange River

  • After breakfast, drive along Namaqualand, which attracts many visitors during the flowering season because of the colourful sights across the landscape.
  • Stop at the town of Springbok, then continue and cross the border into Namibia.
  • Check into the hotel on the banks of the Orange River and spend the evening at leisure. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)

Day 04

Orange River to Sesriem

  • Have an early morning breakfast and set off for Sesriem in the Sossusvlei area, armed with lunch packs.
  • Arrive late in the evening, check into your hotel, and spend the evening at leisure. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 05

Sesriem, Dune 45 and Deadvlei

  • Today is your chance to experience some of the world's tallest and oldest dunes. There is an optional balloon ride over the dunes, followed by a Champagne breakfast after landing.
  • From there, climb Dune 45, then proceed to Deadvlei, after which you will head back to your lodge for lunch.
  • Spend the evening at leisure. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 06

Sesriem to Swakopmund via Walvis Bay

  • Today, leave for the coastal city of Swakopmund, famed for its German architectural setting and culture, a town said to be more German than Germany itself.
  • Pass through the town of Walvis Bay and take a brief stop for bird watching, where you may see flamingos, pelicans, and other aquatic birds, then continue to Swakopmund.
  • Arrive in the early afternoon. After checking in, head to a service provider for optional activities, where you will choose and book your activities for the following day.
  • Later, spend the evening at leisure, venturing out into this beautiful coastal city of Namibia. (Breakfast, lunch)

Day 07

Leisure and Adventure in Swakopmund

  • Spend a full day in Swakopmund enjoying adrenaline activities such as skydiving, sandboarding, quad biking, dolphin tours, and many others. (Breakfast)

Day 08

Swakopmund to Brandberg via Spitzkoppe

  • After breakfast and armed with lunch packs, drive towards the Brandberg Mountains via Spitzkoppe, a fascinating rock formation that forms the highlight of the day. Here, go for a nature walk guided by local guides to various places within the park, including ancient rock engravings by the San Bushmen, who inhabited this land in earlier times.
  • Next, proceed to Brandberg, arriving in the evening. Check in and spend a relaxed evening enjoying yourselves at the lodge. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 09

Brandberg to Etosha National Park

  • Today, after breakfast, drive to Etosha National Park via the town of Outjo.
  • Take a halt for some shopping and coffee.
  • Then proceed to Etosha Village, your lodge for tonight, check in, and relax for the evening. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 10

Full-Day Game Drive in Etosha

  • After an early morning breakfast, leave for the park for a full day of game driving, looking for the Big Four and visiting various park waterholes.
  • Then return to Etosha Village, which is just a few kilometres outside the park. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 11

Etosha Game Drive and Sunset Safari

  • After breakfast, check out of the lodge and enter the park again for another game drive.
  • By lunchtime, check into the lodge inside the park, have lunch, relax, and wait for an evening game drive until sunset. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 12

Etosha to Windhoek

  • After breakfast and armed with lunch packs, go for another morning game drive before exiting the park.
  • Then leave for Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia.
  • Arrive late in the evening, check into the hotel, and prepare for dinner at your own cost at Joe's Beerhouse, famous for group dinners and for meat lovers. (Breakfast, lunch)

Day 13

Windhoek to the Kalahari

  • After breakfast and armed with lunch packs, drive to Ghazni town.
  • Take a brief stop for some shopping, then proceed to your lodge.
  • Check into the lodge and join an optional Bushman's walk in the surrounding area, where the traditional people will showcase their culture. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 14

Kalahari to Maun and the Okavango Delta

  • After breakfast, drive to the town of Maun, Botswana's tourist capital and home of the Okavango Delta, arriving in time for lunch.
  • Check into your lodge, have lunch, and spend the evening as you wish. You may drive out of town for coffee and some shopping. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 15

Mokoro Excursion in the Okavango Delta

  • After an early morning breakfast, enjoy excursions on the world's largest inland delta, including game viewing on a traditional mokoro boat and a nature walk in the delta guided by local guides known as polers.
  • Tonight, the team of local guides will organise an entertainment programme with songs and dance.

Day 16

Sunrise Walk and Return to Maun

  • Today, enjoy another early morning nature walk for sunrise in the delta, then return to camp for breakfast.
  • Then load your gear and leave for the lodge in Maun, arriving in time for lunch.
  • Afterwards, spend the evening at leisure or join one of the optional scenic flights over the delta.

Day 17

Okavango Delta to Nata

  • Today, travel to Nata. Your lodge for tonight has a very good waterhole teeming with many elephants.
  • Arrive in time for lunch, check in, and spend the rest of the evening at leisure, enjoying a swim in the pool. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 18

Nata to Chobe National Park

  • Today, drive to the town of Kasane for a bit of shopping, the home of Chobe National Park and the home of the elephants.
  • Arrive in time for lunch and check into your lodge either inside or outside the park.
  • Then leave for an optional boat ride, considered the best boat ride in the region, and spot elephants swimming and playing in the water along with many animals beside the riverbanks of the Chobe River.
  • In the evening, return to the lodge. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 19

Game Drives in Chobe National Park

  • After breakfast, go to Chobe National Park for a morning game drive.
  • Check in either at the lodge or mobile campsite in the park at lunchtime, have lunch, and relax until early evening.
  • Enjoy an evening game drive until sunset. (Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 20

Chobe to Victoria Falls

  • After breakfast, enjoy another morning game drive before exiting the park and driving to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
  • Have lunch, check into the hotel, and spend the evening enjoying various optional activities around the falls. Entry to Victoria Falls is included on a single-entry basis. (Breakfast)

Day 21

Victoria Falls Exploration

  • Today, have breakfast, check out from the hotel, drive straight to the border, cross into Zimbabwe, and continue directly to Victoria Falls.
  • Arrive at lunchtime, check into the lodge, and spend the evening at leisure visiting the falls.
  • Enjoy many optional activities such as bungee jumping, jet boating, helicopter flights, and white-water rafting. A single-entry ticket to the falls is included. (Breakfast)

Departure Day

  • End the safari today after breakfast and head to the airport to board your return flight.
