National Museum Visit and Lekki Nature Adventure
- Start at the National Museum and learn about Nigerian people and culture.
- Next, learn about the three major tribes in Nigeria: Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa. These three major tribal languages were also used on one of the country's currencies, the NGN 50 note, as "WAZOBIA." "WA" is from Yoruba, meaning "come," "ZO" is from Hausa, meaning "go," and "BIA" is from Igbo, meaning "come."
- You will also learn a lot more about Nigerian history and see the motor car in which former Nigerian Head of State General Murtala Muhammed was assassinated.
- Proceed to the Lekki Conservation Centre and explore nature. According to Wikipedia, the reserve covers a land area of 78 hectares and is located on the Lekki Peninsula, next to the Lekki Lagoon and near the Lagos Lagoon. It protects the wetlands of the Lekki Peninsula, which consist of swamp and savannah habitats.
- As you approach the reserve, a boulevard of coconut trees leads to a well-laid-out car park and visitors' park. The centre is endowed with an abundance of plant and animal life, and its massive tract of wetlands is set aside for wildlife viewing. Raised walkways enable you to view animals such as monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, and various birds.
- Spot animals such as monkeys, birds, tortoises, and peacocks, and go for a walk on the longest canopy walkway in Africa.
- Play the largest chess game, climb the treehouse, and have a drink of fresh coconut water.
