- Visit Freedom Park. Freedom Park is a memorial and leisure park in the middle of downtown Lagos on Lagos Island, Nigeria. Formerly Her Majesty's Broad Street Prison, it has recently been turned into a cultural centre. It was designed by Architect Theo Lawson and was constructed to preserve Nigeria's history and cultural heritage.
