The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Kampala and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Arrive in Kampala, meet your tour guide, and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Stop at the Uganda Equator along Masaka Road, where you will be able to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Have lunch, take photos, and buy some beautiful souvenirs.
Arrive at Pumba Safari Cottages for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Morning Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Have an early morning breakfast and go for a game drive.
Spot Big Five members - elephants, buffaloes, lions, and leopards - along with other wild animals, including warthogs, hyenas, giraffes, and hippos.
Try bird-watching and look for flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi.
Enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel, a 36 km channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. Spot land- and water-adapted hippopotamuses, Nile crocodiles gaping along the banks, and the savannah version of pigs - the warthog.
Take in the magnificent view of birds and animals, including the ever-playing African elephants in the water.

Day 03

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kalinzu Forest and Return to Kampala

Wake up early in the morning to go chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu Forest in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enjoy the walk through the forest and meet the fascinating chimpanzees.
Drive back to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator and have lunch in Masaka.
Arrive in Kampala and continue to the airport for your flight back home.
