The itinerary

Day 01

Accra to Wli via Akosombo

Arrive in Accra, meet your tour guide, and depart for Wli in the Volta Region.
Stop at Akosombo to enjoy a boat cruise on the world's largest artificial lake and view Ghana's hydroelectric dam.
Continue to Wli, have dinner, and spend the night at a hotel.

Day 02

Visit Tafi Abuife Kente Village

Have an early morning breakfast and travel to Kente Village.
Visit Tafi Abuife Kente Village. Tafi Abuife is popular for Kente weaving. Kente is a colourful Ghanaian traditional fabric that is worn mostly on important occasions and celebrations. Many of the Kente cloths seen in Ghanaian markets actually come from Tafi Abuife and Bonwire.
Travel back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary Experience

Wake up early in the morning and travel to Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary to play with and feed the Mona monkeys.
Learn about the community and how eco-tourism has contributed to the development of Kente Village.
Travel back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Hike Mount Afadjato

Have an early morning breakfast and go hiking on Ghana's highest mountain, Afadjato, which is 885 m above sea level. The trek will take around 3 hours.
Enjoy the view from the mountain, take lots of photographs, and spot the local flora and fauna of the region.
Hike back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Wli Waterfalls and Return to Accra

Wake up early in the morning and travel to Wli Waterfalls, West Africa's highest waterfalls.
Spend time near the waterfall and enjoy nature.
Head back to Accra and transfer to your hotel or the airport.
