Day 01

Nizwa Heritage Tour from Muscat

Arrive in Muscat, meet your tour guide, and travel to Nizwa.
Visit the Nizwa souq and go shopping.
Watch the live shows at the souq, including animal shows and demonstrations of using Omani daggers to cut fruits.
Visit Nizwa Fort, which was built in 1640 and was the residence of the ruler of Oman.
Travel to Jabreen Castle, built by the same Imam and his brother in 1670, where they relaxed during the winter.
Proceed to Bahla city, home to one of the oldest forts in Oman, which is listed as a World Heritage Site.
Continue to see two old villages near the mountain - Al Hamra and Misfat - which are 300 years old. The houses there are made of stone and feature beautiful designs and inscriptions on the doors.
Drive back to Muscat and transfer to your hotel.
