The itinerary

Day 01

Kuusamo to Posio Hike and Lakeside Camping

Meet your tour guide at Adventure Apes Lodge in Kuusamo at 9.00 am, or spend the previous night at the lodge.
Pack your rucksack with the help of your guide.
Enjoy lunch at Adventure Apes Lodge.
Transfer to the starting point of the hike.
Begin your hike and learn interesting facts about the indigenous plants and animals.
Arrive at your campsite in the late afternoon, set up camp, and cook your dinner on a gas cooker or over an open fire.
Enjoy the sunset and go swimming in the lake.
Spend the night in a twin-sharing tent with your friend.

Total hiking distance on day 1: 5 km.

Day 02

Posio Hiking, Swimming Break, and Second Campsite

Cook your camp breakfast with the help of your guide, then continue the hike.
Have lunch and take a swimming break along the hike.
Arrive at your next campsite in the late afternoon, set up camp, and cook your dinner on a gas cooker or over an open fire.
Enjoy the sunset and go swimming in the lake.
Spend the night in a twin-sharing tent with your friend.

Total hiking distance on day 2: 5.5 km.

Day 03

Final Hike and Rowing Boat Lake Crossing

Cook your camp breakfast with the help of your guide, then begin your hike.
Stop for lunch along the way.
Cross the lake with a rowing boat.
Return to the starting point by 14.00.
Transfer back to Adventure Apes Lodge.
