Barcelona Walking Tour through Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter
- Meet your tour guide at Plaça de Catalunya. Start your tour by walking down Las Ramblas, a famous street in central Barcelona known for local and street artists, with numerous restaurants and terrace spots in the area.
- While walking through Las Ramblas, stop at La Boqueria Mercado, an ideal place to buy fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, sweets, and dairy products.
- Visit Plaça Reial, a nightlife hub and a vibrant spot where people gather to enjoy the fountain, streetlamps, and clubs.
- See the 60-metre-high Columbus Monument, a memorial to Christopher Columbus, the great explorer.
- Enter the Gothic Quarter, where you can see a fusion of buildings from Roman times while walking down narrow medieval streets and getting a closer look at the city.
- Visit the Roman walls and ancient streets.
- Visit the Cathedral de Barcelona, a Gothic cathedral and the seat of the Archbishop of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
- Visit Parc de la Ciutadella, a great place to relax and sightsee, and Arc de Triomf, built as the gateway to the fair held in Parc de la Ciutadella.
