Day 01

Jerusalem Old City and Sacred Sites

  • Meet at the starting location in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.

  • Enjoy a walking tour of Jerusalem's Old City, including visits to the Four Quarters, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Western Wall, and the Temple Mount.

Accommodation will be in Jerusalem.

Day 02

Jerusalem New City, Neighbourhoods, and Markets

  • Morning: Tour Jerusalem's New City, including its historic neighbourhoods and markets.

  • After lunch: arranged visit to Bethlehem or Jericho.

Day 03

Herodium, Ein Gedi, and the Dead Sea

This day will include visits to the following attractions:

  • King Herod's desert fortress, Herodium, situated 758 meters (2,487 ft) above sea level on the highest peak in the Judaean Desert.

  • Ein Gedi springs, an oasis and nature reserve in Israel located west of the Dead Sea, as well as the kibbutz, which offers tourist attractions including a vast botanical garden.

  • Monasteries.

  • The Jordan River, a 251-kilometre-long river in the Middle East.

  • Indulge in a Dead Sea float and a mud bath.

Accommodation: near the Dead Sea or somewhere south of it.

Southern Desert and Bedouin Encounters

  • Meet Bedouin communities.

  • Hear ancient tales of the country.

  • If the walking tour of Jerusalem is included in the program, it will be customized and quoted without the use of the vehicle at a daily rate of $375.
  • If a vehicle is required within Jerusalem, then the daily driver-guide rate will be $425 USD.
